Saturday, May 5th is Trek for Timor - Kangaroo Valley, raising funds for education in Timor Leste.

At short notice WICEN assisted with the Bridge 2 Bridge Ski Boat Race lase weekend. With 3 days notice the group provided approximately 16 operators, with CREST also providing valuable support. WICEN set up a VHF Hi-Band DMR network using IP linking, with the three repeaters strategically placed to provide coverage of the entire course.

The Hawkesbury Canoe Classic will be held overnight on 28th and 29th October. WICEN has responsibility for checkpoint and other communications over a large portion of the course, so requires a good turnout of operators.

The Mid North Coast Region will be supporting the AMSAG Johns River Rally, between Johns River and Heron Creek, next Saturday.
