The next planned WICEN event is the stand at the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club's Wyong Field Day on Sunday, 28th February 2016.

Members should however remain prepared for activation over the summer period, as until recently this has been the busiest period for incidents.

To join the group intending members should download and print the membership form from the group's website, and mail it back. Most radio clubs will have members who are able to complete the proposal and seconding sections.

The postal address is PO Box 6151, DURAL DC NSW 2158.

The site also lists the organisations repeaters, which are available to all, including those travelling over the holiday period.

WICEN has a twitter account: @wicennsw
It can be viewed at: http://twitter.com/wicennsw

Facebook users will find the official WICEN New South Wales page, and an informal national WICEN group.

SAVEM, the South Australian Veterinary Emergency Management, Incorporated has been stood down following their response to the Pinery fire. WICEN SA once again supported their efforts, in this case by providing radio equipment.

WICEN Victoria's final event for the year is Duncan's "Run-Hundred" trail running event at Tara Bulga National Park in Gippsland on Saturday, December 19th. See: http://www.vic.wicen.org.au/
