The WICEN NSW Inc Annual General Meeting for 2016 is on next Saturday, 10 September at 1400, here at ARNSW in Quarry Road, Dural. Members should have received official notification and other papers by mail or email. Note that this is election day in some council areas, run by NSWEC, the council itself, or a contractor, and that absentee voting is not available.
Northern Rivers Region WICEN is be assisting with communications for the QERA State Championships, a Horse Enduro at Wiangaree NSW, concluding today.
The Great North Walk 100s will be in the Hunter region on the weekend of September 10th and 11th.
SAREX, the search and rescue exercise built around the search for the single-engined aircraft, VH-MDX, which went missing in August 1981 is the weekend of September 16 to 18 in the Barrington Tops area.
October 9 is a training day here at Dural.
The weekend of October 22 and 23 is the Cave Rescue Exercise at Jenolan Caves.
The Hawkesbury Canoe Classic, a significant event in terms of the number of operators required, will run overnight from Saturday, October 29th to Sunday 30th.

The ACTERA Brookvale Horse Endurance Ride concludes today. Fitz's Challenge is a road cycling event in the Brindabella Ranges on Sunday October 30. Foundation courses are provided bi-monthly, with exams for all levels on the Sunday. Immediate registration is required for the one on on 17th and 18th September.
WICEN Victoria's next event is the Stockman Rally in the Big River State Forest on September 18. The Australian 4 Day Enduro, a motorcycling event at Mansfield commences on November 15. The group's website is: http://vic.wicen.org.au
