The final Alzheimer's Australia NSW's Memory Walk and Jog will be held at Port Macquarie on Sunday 4 June, at Westport Park. A short event, this is suitable for new members.

True Grit, promoted as a "military inspired obstacle challenge", is on June 10 and 11 in Lower Portland, north-west of Sydney. As one of the competition classes in this event continues overnight, additional operators are sought, in order to work in shifts.

Bush Search and Rescue New South Wales, or BSAR organises Navshield, the NSW Emergency Services Wilderness Navigation Shield, to be held on June 24th and 25th, with WICEN setup the afternoon before.

The weekend of 21 to 23rd July will be a recce for the VH-MDX Search And Rescue EXercise, with the event on 15th to 17th September. A Mini VH-MDX SAREX is also listed for Wednesday, 14 June to Friday 16th.

Most recently confirmed is Trek for Timor Kangaroo Valley, on 7th and 8th October.

Saturday, August 26 is the tentative date for the AGM.

WICEN Northern Rivers has a weekly net on Tuesdays at 8:00 pm summer time, on the Lismore repeater VK2RSC on 146.8 MHz, requiring a 123 Hz tone. Listen for VK2WIR. The Region has a meeting on Sunday 11 June at 1000, at the SARC club rooms.

The WICEN Mid North Coast Region monthly meeting is held on the first Saturday of the month, at SES HQ Central Road, Port Macquarie, beginning at 1530 hours.

WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the ACT and the surrounding "Capital Country". Next weekend is the BMSC National Capital Rally. The weekend of June 10 and 11 is the SCSCC Bega Rally, and the 17th is the BMSC Rallye des Femmes. July 22 is pencilled in as the BMSC Narooma Rally. WICEN Victoria holds a net every Tuesday at 2030 on or near 3.6 MHz. The Mallee Rally is 10th and 11th June at the spectacular Lake Tyrell, near Sealake.
