As a member of VRA Region 0, WICEN has been asked to assist in the provision of radio coverage of the Royal National Park section of the MS Sydney to Gong cycle ride on on Sunday the 1st of November. The briefing is at Waterfall early on the Sunday morning, with deployment in that general area for most of the day. Further participants are requested, with the event being suitable for new members.

Northern Rivers is conducting an exercise covering radio and signals Procedure, operating, and map reading on Saturday 31 October.

Cave Rescue Squad, a sister VRA squad, will be Operational Exercise at Jenolan Caves over the weekend of 31st October and 1st November.

The correct date for the CCARC Wyong Field Day is Sunday, 28nd February 2016.

WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the ACT and Capital Country. The club's website at www.crarc.ampr.org includes details of both WICEN and general events. Fitz's Challenge is a long distance cycling event held in the west of the ACT is on today. November 7 is Call of the Beast, a mud running and obstacle course event. BMSC's "Rallye des Femme", an event for female drivers and novice males, is on the 14th of Novermber.

WICEN Victoria is supporting the Stockmans Rally today in the Big River State Forest. Thursday, October 29 is the Boniyong exercise in the Mornington and Rosebud area.
