Navshield, the NSW Emergency Services Wilderness Navigation Shield, organised by Bush Search and Rescue New South Wales, or BSAR concludes today at the Marramarra National Park, on the Hawkesbury River.
The weekend of 21st to 23rd July will be a recce for the VH-MDX SAREX, with the event on the 15th to 17th September. This is a search and rescue exercise built around the search a light aircraft missing since 1981, in the rugged Barrington Tops.
Trek for Timor Kangaroo Valley is on 7th and 8th October.
The Hawkesbury Canoe Classic is held overnight during a weekend in October, likely to be the 28th and 29th October.
Saturday, August 26th is the tentative date for the AGM.

WICEN Northern Rivers has a weekly net on Tuesdays at 8:00pm summer time, on the Lismore repeater VK2RSC on 146.8 MHz, requiring a 123 Hz tone. Listen for VK2WIR. Members will be providing communications for the Jackadgery Horse Enduro on July 29th and 30th.
The WICEN Mid North Coast Region monthly meeting is held on the first Saturday of the month, at SES HQ Central Road, Port Macquarie, beginning at 1530 hours.
WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the ACT and the surrounding "Capital Country". July 22nd is penciled in as the BMSC Narooma Rally. September 2nd and 3rd is the ACTERA Brookvale Horse Enduro on the north-west border of the Territory. Fitz's Challenge is a cycling event on Sunday October 29th. WICEN Victoria holds a net every Tuesday at 2030 on or near 3.6 MHz. Sunday, August 6th is the Rainbow Desert Enduro, an off-road buggy event in the west of the state.
