The 111 km Hawkesbury Canoe Classic, and the 67 km Wisemans Dash will be next weekend, the 27th and 28th October. These form one of WICEN's largest events, in terms of number of operators required, and raise funds for the ARROW, The Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation. On Sunday November 18th there will be a WICEN training day at ARNSW Dural with topics including network design, message passing, and repeater trailer setup and operation. Please email operations@nsw.wicen.org.au if you are attending.

The group will be at the Wyong Field Day, confirmed as Sunday, February 24th, 2019.

WICEN Northern Rivers has a weekly net on Tuesdays at 8:00pm, on the Lismore repeater VK2RSC on 146.8 MHz, requiring a 123 Hz tone. Listen for VK2WIR.

The WICEN Mid North Coast Region monthly meeting is held on the first Saturday of the month, at SES HQ, Central Road, Port Macquarie, beginning at 15:30. The region is also running an HF net on Thursday evenings at 19:00, on the WICEN frequency, 3.600 MHz.
