As a member of VRA Region 0, WICEN is assisting in the provision of radio coverage of the Royal National Park section of the MS Sydney to Gong cycle ride today.

Cave Rescue Squad, a sister VRA squad, has been running an Operational Exercise at Jenolan Caves over this weekend.

WICEN plans to have a stand at the CCARC Wyong Field Day on Sunday, 28nd February 2016.

WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the ACT and Capital Country. The club's website at www.crarc.ampr.org includes details of both WICEN and general events, including Foundation Licence courses. November 7 is Call of the Beast, a mud running and obstacle course event. BMSC's "Rallye des Femme", an event for female drivers and novice males, is on the 14th of Novermber. The next Foundation course is on the 14th and 15th of this month.

WICEN Victoria is supporting the Massive Murray Paddle over five days from Wednesday, November 25th, paddling from Yarrawonga to Swan Hill. The weekend of November 28th and 29th is the Alpine Rally between Lakes Entrance and Genoa. Saturday, December 19th is Duncan's "Run-Hundred" trail running event at Tara Bulga National Park in Gippsland.
