The Annual General Meeting will be next Saturday, 22nd August at 2:00 pm, here at Amateur Radio NSW in Quarry Road, Dural. Official notification has been mailed to financial members.
The Barrington Tops SAREX, built around the search for the missing light aircraft, VH-MDX will be over the weekend of October 17 and 18.
The Hawkesbury Canoe Classic, one of the largest events on WICEN's calendar will be overnight, on October 24th and 25th.
The Northern Rivers region are tentatively involved with the "Paddle for Life" down the Richmond River, on the 12th and 13th of September, and the Horse Enduro at Wiangaree on the 3rd adn 4th of October.

WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the ACT and the surrounding region. The club's website at www.crarc.ampr.org includes details of both WICEN and general events. The group is supporting the ACTERA Brookvale Horse Enduro on the weekend of the 26th and 27th of September. Brookvale is a property which straddles the north western border of the ACT and NSW. BMSC - Tumut Valley Rally is on Saturday the 17th of October. Fitz's Challenge is a long distance cycling event in the western areas of the ACT, held on Sunday 25th of October.
WICEN Victoria's website lists the Mini Marathon at Moama, NSW on Saturday, 17th October. The Stockmans Rally is on Sunday the 25th of October in the Big River State Forest.
