The next planned WICEN event is the stand at the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club's Wyong Field Day on Sunday, 28th February 2016.

Members should however remain prepared for activation over the summer period, as until recently this has been the busiest period for incidents. For teh next few months the BOM is predicting the likelihood if higher that median temperatures for the greater Sydney region and the Tablelands. Rainfall is expected to be be around the median in Sydney, but greater on the north coast, and lower to the south.
