This is the annual Search & Resue exercise organised by the Bushwalkers Wilderness Rescue Squad in conjunction with NSW Police Resue. WICEN is asked to support the efforts of the search teams with communications. Depending on the search area this usually involves establishing a temporary repeater network using a main VHF repeater and multiple UHF-VHF cross band repeaters on WICEN licensed commerical frequencies.

The event runs all weekend and particpants will need to be fully self sufficient from Friday night till Sunday PM.
