WICEN is supporting a number of Alzheimer's Australia Memory Walk & Jog events. These are fairly short, and ideal for new members. The next is over The Bay Run at Drummoyne in Sydney on May 1. Albury-Wodonga's event, with the 10 km run option crossing from Wodonga, onto Gateway Island, to Albury and back, is on May 22. The Hunter event will be May 29, at Warner's Bay.

True Grit will be on June 11 and 12 in Lower Portland, requiring both daytime and overnight operators,

If you picked up a membership form at today's Field Day, you will find most clubs have WICEN members who can fill in the Proposer and Seconder portions.

The first of a series of Alzheimer's Australia Memory Walk & Jog events was held this morning in North Wollongong. The Western Sydney event will be on Sunday 13th March, at Penrith. Port Macquarie is on April 3, and the event near Leichardt in Sydney is May 1 (Mayday). Albury-Wodonga's event is on May 22.

WICEN will have a stand at the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club's Wyong Field Day on Sunday, 28th February 2016. This is an opportunity for non-members to join the organisation.
