The Western Sydney edition of the Alzheimer's Australia NSW's Memory Walk and Jog events is this morning at Tench Reserve, Penrith. May 7 is the Sydney walk, commencing at Leichhardt Oval #3, on the waterfront at Lilyfield, while the 21st is the Hunter event, at Tulkaba Park in Teralba. Finally, the Port Macquarie one will be at Westport Park on 4th June. These are short events, and are suitable for new members.

True Grit is mud running event on June 10 and 11 in Lower Portland, north-west of Sydney.

The next in the series of Alzheimer's Australia NSW's Memory Walk and Jog events will be next weeknd, March 12th in Western Sydney, specifically, Tench Reserve, Penrith. May 7 is the Sydney walk, commencing at Leichhardt Oval #3, on the waterfront at Lilyfield, while the 21st is the Hunter edition, at Tulkaba Park in Teralba. Finally, the Port Macquarie one will be at Westport Park on 4th June. These are short events, and are suitable for new members.

True Git is June 10 and 11, while the Navshield is June 24th and 25th.

On Sunday, February 26th, WICEN will be represented at the CCARC Field Day. This is an opportunity for members to renew their membership, and for others to join. Members are asked to indicate if they are available to help staff the stand.

February 26th is also the first of a series of Alzheimer's Australia NSW's Memory Walk and Jog events, in this case at Stuart Park, North Wollongong. March 12th is the Western Sydney walk at Penrith, and May 7 is the Sydney walk.

There will be a WICEN check in net tomorrow evening, that is, Monday 9 January, run from La Perouse, with back up from Dural. The expected timetable is:

1930: On the 147.150 Mhz Chatswood Repeater, requiring a 91.5 Hz tone.
1940: On the 147.150 MHz Heaton Repeater, south of Newcastle, needing 123 Hz
1950: On 147.500 MHz simplex
2000: On 3600 kHz in the 80m band, +/- QRM.
