WICEN's support of the BWRS Barrington Tops Search and Rescue
Exercise, SAREX continues today. This is a multi-agency exercise,
built around the search for the missing aircraft VH-MDX, the only
civilian aircraft which remains missing on mainland Australia.

WICEN ACT has a car rally and a long distance bicycle ride coming up
at the end of October, and Rallye des Femme in December.

Members should have received information on uniforms, work wear and
protective equipment by email.

If you do not have email, your local Library should be able to assist
you in setting up a free web based email account, which can then be
accessed from any Internet connected computer. Your callsign would
make a convenient user-name. Please then advise WICEN of your
address.

The recent Trek for Timor was a complete success, and WICEN have been
invited back for next year's event, this time in the Blue Mountains.
