WICEN will have a stand at the Wyong field day. Please consider helping, as the more volunteers, the shorter the shifts. Visiting the stand is a convenient way for members to pay their yearly membership, and for others to join.

WICEN has been asked to provide communications support for the Bushwalker's Wilderness Rescue Squad's Operational Exercise, or OPEX, Winburndale Nature Reserve, 35kms north-east of Bathurst, on the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of March.

WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club. Their website at www.crarc.ampr.org includes details of both WICEN and general events.

Sister VRA squad, the Bushwalker's Wilderness Rescue Squad will be running their remote area first aid course at Cardiff Scout Hall on the 1st and 2nd, and 15th and 16th of February. For details see: http://www.bwrs.org.au/, being sure to include the “W”s.
