WICEN will have a stand at next weekend's Central Coast Amateur Radio Club's Wyong Field Day. This is an opportunity for non-members to join the organisation.

The first of a series of Alzheimer's Australia Memory Walk & Jog events will be held on Sunday 28th February at Stuart Park, just north of Wollongong city. Further operators are sought. Please contact WICEN if you are able to assist. The Western Sydney event will be on Sunday 13th March, at Penrith. Port Macquarie is on April 3, and the event near Leichardt in Sydney is May 1 (Mayday). Albury-Wodonga's event is on May 22.

WICEN is aware of a company in Western Sydney which is looking for a radio technician apprentice. Please email operations@nsw.wicen.org.au and your details will be passed on.

WICEN Victoria are supporting the Yea Field Weekend at Yea, on Friday 18th March, and Saturday the 19th; and Duncan Run Hundred will be in the Tarra-Bulga National Park in south East Victoria in Saturday 2nd April. April 9 and 10 is the Sunraysia 600, a round of the Australian and Victorian Off-Road Championships, at Keera Station, Lake Cullulleraine, just south of Wentworth NSW.
