WICEN will be at the CCARC Field Day on Sunday, 25th February.

Saturday, May 5th is Trek for Timor - Kangaroo Valley, raising funds for student accommodation and scholarships in Timor Leste.

The True Grit obstacle course running event on 2nd and 3rd of June will be followed by the Obstacle Course Racing World Championship the next weekend, the 9th and 10th, both at Lower Portland.

WICEN Northern Rivers has a weekly net on Tuesdays at 8:00pm, on the Lismore repeater VK2RSC on 146.8 MHz, requiring a 123 Hz tone. Listen for VK2WIR. Sunday, 11th February is their meeting, at 10:00 am.

The WICEN Mid North Coast Region monthly meeting is held on the first Saturday of the month, at SES HQ, Central Road, Port Macquarie, beginning at 15:30. The region is also experimenting with an HF net on Thursday evenings at 19:00, on the WICEN frequency, 28.450 MHz.

WICEN ACT is part of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, and supports events in the ACT and the surrounding "Capital Country". Saturday, 24th February is the BMSC Rallye des Femme. Easter Sunday, April 1st, is the National Carriage Driving Championships at Witwood, and the Canberra Two Day Walk on the 7th and 8th. WICEN Victoria holds a net every Tuesday at 20:30 on or near 3.6 MHz. January 26 is a Fun Run on Mornington Peninsula. The Queens Baton Relay passes through Warragul in Gippsland on Sunday, 11 February. Field Weekend at Yea runs for three days from Friday, March 2. Duncan's Run in the Tarra Bulga State Forest is listed tentatively for Saturday, March 24. The Sunraysia Rally will be held in the far north-west corner of Victoria, south of Wentworth, on April 21 and 22. Their website is: http://vic.wicen.org.au
